The 67 stop Hereford Cathedral sample set is the complete instrument with all stops sounding, along with the programming of a crescendo function and a redesign of the left and right hand jambs.

There is also an “XL” version of this sample set which is included with the 67 stop set. A USB memory stick containing the installation files is also available to order at a nominal cost to cover media, handling and delivery. The XL version includes the various features, including ...

With 67 stops and 4 separate tremulants speaking into a fairly large acoustic, computer processor and memory requirements are more demanding than for the smaller Hereford sets, albeit - by today’s standards (2023) - not especially so. A 64 bit operating system is essential; this is only really an issue if you have the 32 bit version of Windows 7, 8 or 10. Whilst almost all processors manufactured within the past 10 years will be fine, a minimum of 16 GB system RAM is strongly recommended.

Hauptwerk version 5 is the minimum requirement and this set is fully compatible with all of the more recent versions of Hauptwerk. The following table gives very approximate figures for the amount of RAM (memory) the organ requires with various different loading options set. None of these figures take into account the RAM needed by the operating system or Hauptwerk itself. Where no figure is given, that particular loading option (although valid) hasn't been tested, generally because it wouldn't make sense to use it.
