The 46 stop sample set gives a good selection of the original Father Willis registers, along with some of the more recent additions. With stops present on all four manuals, the complete range of couplers has been provided and this allows for an even greater range of tone colours to be drawn from the instrument.
The Great Trumpet is available as a separate rank on the Solo organ - if desired, it may be voiced separately to help stiffen the Solo Tromba to create a more than passable Tuba. Meanwhile, a range of separate samples taken with the tremulant engaged are provided for the Solo Viola da Gamba, Cor Anglais and Orchestral Oboe. As the tremulant is engaged or dis-engaged, the appropriate set of samples is cross-faded, giving a more natural sounding transition. For further details on the various features of this sample set, including the floating expression pedal, switchable stop delay and an explanation of the working of the Solo 16 foot couplers, please see the User Manual.
Various screen views have been programmed, which include pages optimised for those using two display screens. The left and right hand jambs take advantage of Hauptwerk v4’s ability to create a displays with differing aspect ratios, allowing flexibility for those using screens in a portrait orientation. Please see below for a comprehensive selection of screenshots.

Computer requirements are moderate by today’s standards. A sensible minimum of a good dual core processor with 6 - 8 GB of system RAM is suggested and a 64 bit operating system along with Hauptwerk Advanced Edition should be considered essential. Although Hauptwerk version 3 (minimum v 3.23) is supported, Hauptwerk version 4 is highly recommended for the extra flexibility and features it offers.
The following table gives very approximate figures for the amount of RAM (memory) the organ requires with various different loading options set. None of these figures take into account the RAM needed by the operating system or Hauptwerk itself. Where no figure is given, that particular loading option (although valid) hasn't been tested, generally because it wouldn't make sense to use it.
