Updates for the various sample sets are available below, along with a description of bug fixes and enhancements ...

St. Mary-le-Bow update patches

These patches fix a problem with the Pedal compass, which was missing the top two notes (F# and G) in the Extended sets only (multi- and single-channel).

St-Mary-le-Bow-Multi-Patchv1.10 - 568,109 bytes

St-Mary-le-Bow-Single-Patchv1.10 - 239,098 bytes

Armley Volume 2 (57 stop) miscellaneous update patches

These patches correct the following problems:

1. Incorrect tuning information was stored within note 70 (middle A#) of the Choir Cornett samples. This is only noticeable when using temperaments other than the original organ temperament, when the pitch of this pipe sounds two semi-tones too high.

2. Two notes of the Pedal Violon 16’ have been discarded and re-pitched from neighbouring samples. Although there was nothing technically wrong with the samples themselves, the unsteady speech of the pipes was found to be unacceptable, particularly when using alternative temperaments.

3. An issue with the medium note duration release of the Pedal Quinte, note 48 (tenor C). Only the surround sample is affected.

Armley-57-multi-channel-update - 27,377,260 bytes - MD5 checksum is 02bad249e0c7aa9314654ff628483875

Armley Volume 1 patches - NB all customers of the Armley 57 stop sets will already have been given access to these patches

There are two patches available for both the 57 and 32 stop Armley sets which fix minor problems with a few samples. This first patch updates all Armley sets, single- and multi-channel.

This second patch is only applicable to the Armley 32 and 57 stop multi-channel sets.

Little Waldingfield and Groton

There are updated organ definition files available for both Groton and Little Waldingfield.  The change in each case is a minor one - the keys of the coupled manual now move whereas before they did not. For example, if you draw Swell to Great and play on the Great, the keys will also move on the Swell organ.
NB The following two updates are only applicable if using versions of these organs that have been downloaded from the main Hauptwerk Instruments website (ie https://www.hauptwerk.com/downloads/instrument-downloads/ )

Groton v1.01 update (48kB)

Little Waldingfield v1.01 update (85 kB)

There is also a Version 2 Little Waldingfield organ which features the following changes:

• The Great Mixture is split into two stops - Sesquialtera Bass and Cornet Treble.

• The Great Flute 4 is now full compass - the missing bass notes are borrowed from the Stop Diapason.

• Keys on coupled manuals move as described above.

Little Waldingfield Version 2 (2248 kB) - choose this if using Little Waldingfield as downloaded from the main Hauptwerk website

Little Waldingfield Version 2 (2252 kB) - choose this if using the Hauptwerk Free Edition version of Little Waldingfield (as downloaded via the Order page)

In each case, this organ is installed alongside the original Little Waldingfield instrument so that both versions are available within Hauptwerk.

Please note that for all these updates the original organs need to be installed first.
